Struck Corp is pleased to debut the newest model in the MAGNATRAC product line: the MAGNATRAC MH4900. Base sale price starts at just under $16,000 with SALE Pricing available through November 17th. FREE early bird specials are available to those that order by October 20th.
Why it’s Unique
The MH4900 is an entry level hydro that doesn’t come short in terms of POWER! In fact, it shares many of the same components as the MH8000. Where the MH8000 was more tailored to the contractor, the MH4900 is for the everyday homesteader.
Powered by one of the quietest and most efficient engines available (Honda GX690,) it’s the very first MAGNATRAC to feature a true hydrostatic drive. What does that mean for homesteaders and hobby farmer projects?
• No clutches or shifting gears
• Less heat
• Dynamic breaking
• Slow creep to 2.5 mph
• 3,000 track PSI (double that of non-hydrostatic models)
• A 5+ gallon fuel tank limits interruptions to your big projects
Specs and Upgrades
Just under 49” wide, the MH4900 can squeeze its 1,700-pound body through the tightest spaces on your lot. Plus, it comes with a variety of available upgrades (including a speed hitch mount, track system upgrade, and mud scrapers, just to name a few) so that you can get straight to work. Don’t forget to check out the 50th anniversary upgrade which includes a limited time special grill!

Will the 4900 work on removing snow
Hi Brian. Yes, the MH4900 can be used for snow removal. That being said, it’s really about how you want to go about removing it. If you had the HL900 Loader, than you could just pick it up and dump it wherever, or you could invest in our SH44 Speed Hitch Mount for the front of the loader. That would be compatible with Mini-Skid Steer Snow Throwers as long as you purchase the universal mounting plate. Keep in mind the MH4900 would have about 10 GPM for attachments, so the mini skid steer would be the best. Those are usually in the 7-15 GPM range. You could also push it with the angling blade that we sell or the six-way blade that we sell as well. Traction will be key here, so some bolt on track shoes will work better than others. Call for more information on that. 1-877-828-8323
Is there a larger backhoe attachment for the mh4900? The smaller 1000 looks like it has a more robust unit on it.
Hi Nathan. Great question! Yes there is a larger backhoe available for the MH4900. The other backhoe would be the D108 Backhoe. This backhoe is the same one that is featured on the MH8000. It has a 8 ft. digging depth and is more robust unit. It also has a wider spread for the stabilizers. That being said, the backhoe that you see on the MH4900, package 496, is really just as robust as the one that you see on the RS1000. It essentially is the same, with just a different mount to connect to the MH series.
I’ve been trying to find the horsepower rating of the engine in the 4900. The hp for the RS1000 is easy to find, but not for the 4900. What is the hp rating of the engine?
Hi Anthony. The approx. HP rating of the MH4900 is 22hp. The approx. HP rating of the MH8500 is 25hp.
