Meet the Muscle
Honda, the name synonymous with quality, reliability and value has been the #1 choice for the construction and rental industry for years! The MH4900 powers through tough ground, with a 2 cylinder Honda GX690 air cooled gasoline engine, with 35.6 lb ft of torque. Standard items include: digital CDI ignition, integrated cylinder and head, and a 17 amp alternator. Upgrade your MH4900 with additional items like a hour/tach meter, hydraulic oil temperature gauge, and our all NEW EOL™ easy to ready hydraulic oil level system. Read more below.
Hydro-Static Drive System
The heart and soul of the NEW MH4900 are commercial grade tandem piston pumps. This technology means: less heat, dynamic braking, variable speeds from a slow creep to 3 mph and MORE POWER! This isolated drive circuit doubles your PSI to each track! Before the tracks had 1,500 PSI, now with the NEW Hydro-Static Drive…they have 3,000 PSI! – That’s a 100% increase!
Easy to Operate with Zero Turn Technology & Easy to Read Gauges
No clutches or shifting gears with a MAGNATRAC®! Hydraulic controls move with finger-tip ease to nimbly maneuver the tractor exactly where you want it. Because you can rotate the tracks in opposite directions at the same time, the MH4900 turns 360 degrees in it’s own length. The MH4900 turns in just over 6 ft! A comparably powered compact tractor requires more than twice the space – over 13 ft. of clear space to turn around. Gauges are easy to read and with all NEW redesigned Hi / Low hand throttle means your engine RPM is easily adjusted.
Long Run Fuel Tank & Optional HK12 Auxiliary Hose Kit
EPA, CARB approved, 5+ gallon, easy to fill fuel tank assures long hours of uninterrupted earth-moving. Includes: carbon filter, fuel gauge and easy fuel shutoff. Optional front auxiliary hose kit, comes with flat faced couplers for easy connection of third party attachments using the universal skid steer mounting plate.
Keep Cool All Day Long
Standard-duty, upper frame mounted heat exchanger and engine crankshaft mounted 9″ aluminum fan keeps your hydraulic oil cool all day long! Heat guard allows engine heat to dissipate from the hood and grill area easily.
Easily Accessible Operator Cockpit
Homesteader seat with easy to use pin height adjustment allows for quick and easy operation of all attachments. Loader or blade controls are at an easy reach, track drive controls are redesigned and all NEW Hi / Low hand throttle makes setting your speed for moving dirt and engine RPM for backhoe work a snap! From a slow creep to max speed, the MH4900 is easy and safe to use!
UG50 Tractor Upgrade & TSU551 Track Upgrade

|A.||Great question. Yes, there has been some thought about that, but no decision or time table is available at this time.|

|A.||The process isn't real difficult, I would say it takes approx. 30 minutes to make the switch. Both the backhoe and the three point hitch mount directly to the back of the tractor. So, only one can be on the tractor at a time. We use welded nuts on the inside of the tractor frame, so basically you are just installing a few bolts. The easiest way to remove the backhoe is to put the stabilizer arms down and the bucket down and treat it like a "tripod". Then you can remove the backhoe bolts and pull the tractor forward a few inches. We recommend that you put a few blocks underneath the backhoe frame, to keep it at the height you want for future re-attaching. Now you can disconnect the 2 backhoe hoses. Next, you can attach the three point hitch to the rear of the tractor, using many of the same bolts from the backhoe. Tighten with your favorite impact or ratchet driver, and connect a few hoses and your all set. This is a general run-down only, please make sure to use all Struck manuals for complete instructions.|

|A.||To switch from the HL900 Loader to the SWB54 Six-Way Blade, with take approx. 4 hours to make the switch. I would say most customers purchase our SH44 Speed Hitch, and then buy a speed bucket or hydro angling blade. Going that route will keep the cost down and only take a few minutes to switch attachments. That being said, the SWB54 Six-Way Blade is a much stronger blade than the angling blade, so if you are looking for a "true dozer" set-up, then this will be the blade to purchase. For a more in depth description of the switch out procedure, please give us a call and ask to speak with one of our techs.|

|A.||Great question. You may want to just give us a call with all your questions, but in general terms: the MH8500 is loaded up with all of our heavy-duty components, whereas the MH4900 you can buy a little more stripped down or build it up based on needs and budget. For a more detailed explanation, please give us a call at 1-877-828-8323.|

|A.||When you let off the drive handles, (back to neutral) it stops the hydraulic fluid and you automatically stop. We do have an additional safe guard built into the machine as well. It's a mechanical dual parking/emergency brake, (foot pedal) that you can push down to stop the machine as well.|

|A.||Yes you can. However, you would need a new set of tracks and grousers, as the hole design of the track plate and grouser has changed to accommodate the RP72 Rubber Pad Kit.|

|A.||It depends on the weight of the hay bales. The HL900 Loader that connects to the MH4900 or the MH8500, can lift approx. 2,000 lbs off the ground and then approx. 800 lbs at full lift height of 93" high.|

|A.||Yes, we do have "True Dozer Power" built into all of our machines, but please keep in mind our machines are lighter than large full scale dozers, so you will have to take smaller bites. The larger MH series MAGNATRACS offer a true 6-way blade like a real dozer and come with the float action as well, so you can float your blade or bucket when reversing, to level the ground. On the smaller machines, like the RS1000 or the kit dozer, there is a manual angle (left and right motion) available and it does have a replaceable cutting edge than can be angled slightly (tilted), but is not considered a "True 6-way blade".|

|A.||The max lift capacity on the front loader on the MH4900, would be about 2,000 lbs off the ground and about 800 lbs at full height, 93" high.|
|Posted by: Joseph|
|A.||Great question. Yes, I would say it would if you wanted to add some on your own. A 12 volt battery is used in the system along with a 17 amp alternator as well.|

|A.||Yes, you can! The loader on the MAGNATRAC MH8500 or the MAGNATRAC MH4900 are not just loaders, they can excavate as well. Building terraces with these machines will work, however, there are probably a few different ways to go about the project. If you'd want a backhoe on the back of the machine to aide in the project, you can add that as well. You could buy a backhoe at a later date as well and add it to the machine.|

|A.||On the new MH4900, the ground speed is not higher than the MH8000, however, it has been increased for an entry level hydro model. The biggest difference is in the new hydro-static drive system. This new technology allows for more power to the track system. Previous models had 1,500 PSI going to each track..now there is 3,000 PSI going to each track on the MH4900. You are correct, the MH4900 has a dedicated 10 GPM going to the attachment valve. The PSI is regulated on each section for our specific attachments, but the valve also allows full 10 Gpm flow to the PTO or mini-skid steer connection. On the MH8000 the hydraulic system works a bit different. The HC74 hydraulic circuit allows the track and aux. pumps combine flow to the attachments. Total flow would be 23.5 gpm. When looking for speed hitch attachments, stay in the 10-20 GPM range.|

|A.||A MAGNATRAC or MINI-DOZER has a very low center of gravity and great traction, so in general terms they can do much better than a wheeled tractor. Read more about the benefits of a MAGNATRAC here. As far as a published slope and degree angle, we don't publish anything more than what we feel is safe. The number that we provide is 30% maximum grade-ability.|

3RD PARTY ATTACHMENTS
Many other companies make “farm type” implements and mini skid steer attachments that make the MAGNATRAC® MH4900 even more versatile. Please speak with a Struck Representative to verify specs on specific third party attachments will be compatible with our equipment. (GPM) Gallons Per Minute Ratings and weight specs will vary for each attachment. The MH4900 outputs 10 GPM @ 3,000 PSI for front attachments with the standard universal skid steer mounting plate.
