You asked, we answered. You believed in us, and we are expressing our gratitude by bringing you even better products in the true Struck tradition of giving you only the best! We are pleased to announce that RUBBER TRACKS for the RS1000 are now available. Why would you opt for these rubber tracks instead of steel tracks? Here are some of the benefits of our rubber tracks;
Better Traction on Most Surfaces!
Rubber tracks aren’t rigid in the same way that steel tracks are. Because of their flexibility, rubber tracks can adapt their shape to the surface on which the RS1000 is being navigated. Mud at the jobsite, no problem! Rocky terrain, piece of cake! The rubber tracks can get your RS1000 where you want it, when you want it there!
Less Damage to Surfaces!
As you may know, rubber is a softer material than steel. This means that you will be able to drive the RS1000 over your well-tended lawn, the driveway, your garage or any other surface without any fear that you will damage those surfaces. That is the true definition of power with the velvet touch of rubber!
Better for Your Ears!
The NEW rubber tracks on your MAGNATRAC® RS1000 will enable you to work with less noise. If you are working during the day, rubber tracks ensure that the other people busy at their tasks aren’t inconvenienced by loud noise.
Greater Operator Comfort!
Because the rubber tracks on the RS1000 can adapt to the terrain on which you are driving it, you will be more comfortable in the operator’s seat throughout your workday! Operator fatigue is one of the biggest complaints associated with operating such equipment, and this complaint will be no more once your equip your MAGNATRAC® RS1000 with our brand new rubber tracks.
Rubber Tracks Can Travel at Higher Speeds!
You will also be able to move faster from one part of your property to another, where the hardworking MAGNATRAC® RS1000 is needed. Of course, keep within the speed limits recommended in the manual.
Are you now as excited as we are about the rubber tracks for the MAGNATRAC® RS1000? Get the tracks now as an upgrade for $500 when you buy your new RS1000! I have a RS196K and do you have a retrofit rubber track upgrade kit for this dozer?
Hi Andy. Great question. We do offer a rubber track retro kit. It should fit the RS1000 and the RS196K body. I can quote you out a kit if you like.
Please sent quote for the RTU19 Rubber Track System, I bought a RS1000 in 2014.
Thanks Tom
Hi Tom. Thanks for reaching out. We’ll email you over that quote shortly on the rubber track conversion kit. Keep in mind, you’ll need new front idlers and new rear drives. The RTU19 – Rubber Track Upgrade is really an “upgrade” available to new RS1000 purchases, but we do have conversion kits for models that are out in the field. That’s what you’ll see on the quote.
I have a rs 1000 year 2012.can you give me a quote on the retro fit rubber track system?i libe in alaska.thanks.
Hi Kurt. Sure, that’s no problem at all. We’ll email you over a quote shortly.
Will these rubber tracks fit a 2001 magnatrac junior?
Great question. We do have a conversion kit to fit the MAGNATRAC MD567 Junior model, however it cannot have a manual lifting system, as the lifting linkage will be in the way of the center idler frames at this time. Please call for pricing on the conversion kit. 1-877-828-8323.
The lady who answered the phone said you do not have rubber tracks to fit the junior model. Mine does have hydraulics front and rear. Will it fit or not and what is the PRICE? Replacement tracks are the same number as the RS1000.
Sorry for the confusion on this. Rubber tracks are available for the MD567 Junior model, as long as it has hydraulics on the machine. There is not enough clearance for the manual lift linkage. Pricing is approx. $2,000 for the complete conversion kit at this time. The item number would be 004348kit-2.
R rubber tracks as durable as metal ones? I am assuming that they cannot be damaged by salt on the road – is this true?
Hi Victor. Great question. Yes, the new rubber tracks will excel in snow, on concrete and blacktop driveways. They are heavy-duty, mass produced rubber tracks that are used on smaller excavators.
Howdy. Installing the rubber tracks on my 1000. When removing the old tracks, cut several pieces of plain ol’ pvc pipe, either 3/4 or 1/2. As you rotate the tracks, insert pieces in the sprocket. voila’ the track is totally easy to move and comes off without 4%^*$*8.
Great idea Don!
OK, now I’m ready to put on new drive and front sprockets. There were not exactly 5 washers everywhere it says 5 washers. I’m figuring that the washers insure the snap rings fit with as little slop in the rear sprocket and front idler as possible. On the right side, there were 5 everywhere but the variation was on the left side. I’m thinkin’ that the new sprockets aren’t exactly the same as the old ones. So’ put on the rights with 5,5,5 and fit the left sides? It shouldn’t bind but there can’t be any slop either???
Also can I put the master link lock snaps on the outside of the chain? huh? huh? Thanks Don
Hi Don, thanks for your input. Please reach out to our techs here to verify that this is being assembled correctly: techsupport@struckcorp.com
Thought #2 Cutting out the front sprocket bracket clearance: Mark the 1″ cutout limit as marked. Come back 5/8″ and mark the center of the cutout vertically. That’s 3/8″ from the edge of the old hole on the center line. Center punch that spot.. Get out your 1-1/4 hole saw and chuck it up in your drill motor. Saw out the 1-1/4″ donut with a little piece missing, and file off the little edges left behind. A sawzall will make a mess?
worked for me.
BTW, I have a hydraulic loader. The support bracket stops the new front axle bracket about 3/8″ short of full forward extension. Hope I don’t need that last little bit 🙂
Hi Don, thanks again for your input. Please reach out to our techs to give them this information. They will be happy to address your concerns. They can be reached here. > Tech Support
