Effective November 18th, 2017, the Struck Corp has discontinued their MINI-BEEP MBA80 model.
Since 2011, the 4/5 scale, D-I-Y kit version of a World War II Willy’s JEEP®, has been available for Struck Corp customers to create in their own homes, making memories with their families and future generations. Usually made of plywood available at your local hardware store, Struck Corp customers have exhibited great artistic liberties throughout the years with our kits, some making their MINI-BEEP of steel, and others adding extra bells and whistles like ammo boxes, sirens, CD players, and canvas covers.
If you’re a MINI-BEEP owner or have recently purchased a MBA80-B Body Plans/Assembly manual, kits and accessories will only be available until June 1st of 2018. Items such as tire kits can be located through local vendors, as the Struck tire kits will no longer be available for sale.
Enjoy kit sale prices now until June 1st, 2018, until supplies last. After June 1st 2018, wearing parts will be the only ones that are available to purchase for maintenance or upkeep purposes.
You can order a hard copy of the MINI-BEEP Off Road Truck Assembly Manual by calling 1-877-828-8323. Struck Corp customers can rest assured that all warranties on MINI-BEEP products still apply. The MINI-BEEP page on the website has changed and moved to the “Discontinued Products” area under the “Owners” heading on the menu. It can be found here as well: https://struckcorp.com/older_products/mini-beep-mba80-2wd-4wd/
While in production, Struck Corp has sold hundreds of MINI-BEEP kits, as they’re an affordable alternative to other popular ATVs on the market. Each reliable and customizable kit has offered hundreds of hours of entertainment for our customers.
We deeply apologize for any inconvenience that discontinuing the MINI-BEEP may have caused our clientele. Struck Corp is committed to ensuring the best possible customer service to our clientele, regardless of the products they’ve purchased from us throughout the years. If you have any questions about our available MINI-BEEP product kits or replacement parts, please do not hesitate to give us a call or contact us by email.
The “wear” parts will still be available? Everybody likes the jeep. Thanks for allowing me to share with my grand kids.
Hi Michael, yes, any wearing parts or warranty parts will be available for a long time. All new MINI-BEEP sales will stop after June of 2018.
Can you tell me how many kits were sold in the U.S.?
I wouldn’t be able to give you an exact figure, but I would say “hundreds” when talking about full kits from us. When talking about manuals and all other ways people made the MINI-BEEP, I would say in the low thousands.
So I could still order a kit until June of 2018? I was really hoping to build a 4wd version since I learned of them. Funds just currently haven’t allowed it. So this is sad news.
Yes, absolutely! After that time: only wearing parts will be available and of course any possible warranty issues as well will be handled as well. Thank you for your continued interest in the MINI-BEEP Off Road Truck.
I have built the plywood body of the Mini Beep so far. But I still need tp get a few parts for it like the steering wheel kit, rear axle kit, trailer hitches (front and back), and possibly something else as well. Will I still be able to buy those?
Hi John,
Yes, all of those items will be available until June 1st 2018. After that time, just wearing parts and warranty parts will be available after that time. We are holding our sale prices on the MINI-BEEP items until that time. Just give us a call to order at 1-877-828-8323 or feel free to request a quote here as well. > https://struckcorp.com/contact-us/request-a-quote/

Hi John,
The measurements for the plywood body come from the MBA80-B Body Plans/Assembly Manual. They are available to purchase in a hard copy only, by giving us a call at: 1-877-828-8323.
I just purchased the plans and manual and will be needing the front 2wd axle, rear axle, steering wheel kit, and hood kit. Are all these available at this time?
Hi David,
Yes, all of these items will be available until June 1st of next year. After that time, only wearing parts and warranty parts will be available.
How can I get one?
Great question! The MINI-BEEP Off Road Truck is still available through June of 2018 by giving us a call at 1.877.828.8323. Thank you for your interest in the MINI-BEEP Off Road Truck.
oh that stinks
I wanted to do one of these in a All Metal body instead of wood
Hi Ben. The MINI-BEEP MBA80 Off Road Truck is still available until June of this year. To order or if you have any additional questions, please give us a call at 1-877-828-8323.
Will you still sale the manuals after that date
Hi Brad. Great question. Yes, we will still sell replacement hard copy manuals even after the MINI-BEEP is discontinued. That being said, it will not come with the $60 coupon as it does now.
Out of curiosity, why is this great looking product being discontinued? And will there be anything from you guys to replace it, especially something amphibious?
Hi Michael. It has been discontinued for 2 main reasons. High cost to produce and lower amount of sales. We do not anticipate an new amphibious product in the future. Please keep in mind the MINI-BEEP is available until June of this year.
1. If I want to buy the kit I have till June 1 2018 right?
2. Why are you discontinuing the MINI BEEP MBA80?
3. Is there going to be a different model replacing it?
4. If your discontinuing please say so on your youtube.com videos.
I was happy to see something like this, then oh their discontinuing it.
Hi Caleb. I apologize for the confusion on the discontinuing of the MINI-BEEP. Yes, it is being discontinued as of June 1st of this year. So you do have time to purchase and build if you like. The cost to produce is high and limited amount of interest are the main reasons for discontinuing the product. At this time we are not going to offer a replacement product for it, however the body plans /assembly manual will be available after June of 2018. We have updated our YouTube videos to make this clearer. Again, we apologize for any confusion.
Hey Guys, I am doing a school project with the mini beep and was going to see if you had any that you could donate, but after hearing that news this sucks. Now my school project is screwed
Hi Mitchel,
Sorry, for the bad news on the discontinuation of the MINI-BEEP. I’m not sure if you are aware, but you can still purchase MINI-BEEP kits until June of this year, so if you want to purchase the MINI-BEEP Off Road Truck, it is still possible.
Would I be able to get one donated?
Hi Mitchel. Sorry, we are not that large of a company to be able to donate to you. I would check with the larger manufacturers.
It’s to bad that the mini beep is ending, my grandkids and I had a blast this winter driving through snow banks and pulling them around. One thing I was wondering are the drive chains going to be considered wearable parts and also the drive belts and the reverse drive disc with the rubber on diameter.
Just to throw this in Paul has been a tremendous help on the phone and has never once declined to offer his assistance. I guess instead of building another one I’m going to try and do a mini dozer….
Hi Mike, thanks for the kind comments. That is correct, the drive belts, drive chains and reverse disc will be available. That being said, the chains can probably be cut by local hardware stores and drives belts should be available at local auto stores as well. I’m glad you enjoyed this project with your grandkids, many other did too. If you end up building the RS196K, bulldozer kit, I have no doubt that you will be able to have a great time with that build as well.
been saving up for a long time and now it is discontinued
very upset
if you are going to release a new model i will be very happy
Hi Tom, we do understand your frustration. We apologize, but models do change and products are added or discontinued for many reasons. We did try to give ample time to customers that were interested in the MINI-BEEP to purchase it. We announced this as of December 7th of last year, with them being sold until June of 2018. > https://struckcorp.com/struck-discontinues-mini-beep-mba80/ If you still have interest in one, I would check eBay or Craigslist or the forums for when they are listed for sale. The body plans/assembly manual is still available by giving us a call at: 1-877-828-8323. From this manual you could still cut out your own body from 5 sheets of plywood, however, you’d have to create your own steel frame, drive system etc. At this time, we have no plans to create a new version. We have decided to concentrate on making improvements to our main product line, the MAGNATRAC Compact Crawler Tractors. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this has created.
can I still get the 4WD kit for my mini beep?
Hi James,
Unfortunately, we no longer offer the full kits. If you like, we can check stock of individual items from the kit they may be available. Please give us a call and we can have someone check on those specific items.
Is there anywhere I can order the drive kit for the 4×4 or a place I can get the plans for the drive system?
Shop if I call tomorrow during business hours I can still buy the plans right?
Hi Josh. Yes, please call M-F anytime from 8am to 5pm CST, and you can order the body plans/assembly manual for the MINI-BEEP Off Road Truck.
I was looking at amphibious vehicles in 2017 and 2018 but did not learn of the MINI-BEEP’s existence until this year. Had they still been available by the time I finally saw your videos, I would have given you my money immediately. So while your audience is undoubtedly a niche one, it’s evident that you weren’t reaching all of them. I hope you discover a new way to market this and decide to bring it back. Please let me know if you ever do. It would have been perfect for me.
Thank you for your comments and suggestions on the MINI-BEEP Off Road Truck. We will keep that in mind for the future. We want to make you aware that the Body Plans/Assembly manual is still available to purchase, if you desire to use a different drive system for the unit or if you decide to convert a golf cart into a MIMI-BEEP. Please read more about the MINI-BEEP here.
Can you tell me where I can buy a 2WD axle for the mini beep? Mine broke.
Hi Frank, we can still supply parts for you if your axle is broken, please give us a call regarding your broken axle at 1-877-828-8323. – Thank you.
Is there anywhere i can get a 4wd conversion for my minibeep i recently bought one from someone and want to make it 4wd.
Hi Jeffery, unfortunately not. The MINI-BEEP has been discontinued from our product line. We can offer wearing parts for the unit though.
Can this body be installed on an ATV?
Hi Chesley. As the plywood body was designed, it will not. We have had customers make changes to the plywood body on their own, in order to adapt it to a golf cart frame. Hopefully this helps!
I’m looking for the manual is it still available and what is the price.
Hi Kenneth,
Yes, the MBA80 Body Plans/Assembly Manual is still available by calling us to order. 1-877-828-8323. Here is more informaiton on that. > https://struckcorp.com/older_products/mini-beep-mba80-2wd-4wd/
