Terry, one of our longstanding customers, emailed us to express how much fun he is having while putting together and using his MAGNATRAC® RS196K Mini Bulldozer.
In his own words, “my daughter and son-in-law bought this as an early father’s day gift for me that would also double as a birthday gift and a Christmas present for the coming 20 years!”
This isn’t the first MAGNATRAC® that Terry has owned. He has owned the MT1800, one of our older models that we no longer carry, and others that he plans to display during a show in Wellington, Ohio.
Needless to say, when he contacted us for any marketing material that he could have during that show, we gladly gave him some CDs and posters. Being the satisfied customer that he is, Terry said, “I wish I had a MAGNATRAC® flag that I could fly above the mini bulldozer during the show!”
When we assert that our machines can be customized using third-party components and attachments, we mean it. In his email, Terry points out that he added a starter circuit to the Briggs engine and an actuator to “raise the blade and bucket combo, plus a winch at the rear to pull small logs out of the woods.”
Terry also revealed that the winch at the back of his mini bulldozer has been immensely helpful to him as a tool to pull his zero-turn mower out of the mud each time it got stuck. We love to hear how people are putting our mini bulldozers and other MAGNATRACS to a variety of uses once they order and assemble them!
We don’t want you to think that we are exaggerating anything regarding Terry’s communication with us. Just take a look at the pics he shared.

Pass on to Terry.
I love the fact you added the power generation to your RS196K! Can you share what you did? Did it require a different motor or an add-on? I also want to add actuators to front and rear hitches of my RS196K.
Thank You very much!

At the time I didn’t change the motor I just used an alternator that had a built regulator once you start the motor it starts to charge.
